Table Mountain is many things to many people. To Capetonians it remains the spiritual heart of there city. I was fortunate to visit Cape Town recently - No visit to Cape Town would be complete without reaching the summit of the Mountain weather permitting There are designated routes up to the top for the hardy wishing to climb on foot. I took the easy route as do thousands daily via the CableWay car which has been in operation since 1929.

Once at the summit there is much to see - and the fynbos vegetation has 1460 different species. The views from the summit are magnificent with a 360 degree panoramic view.
